Kungsängen Health Center is an operation within primary care in the Stockholm County Healthcare Area (SLSO), which is one of Sweden's largest healthcare providers.

Our employees make a difference now and in the future. Kungsängen Health Center is located in a scenic area in the center with a 3-5 minute walk from the commuter train station. We are a team consisting of general practitioners, ST doctors, licensed doctors, AT doctors, district nurses, nurses, nursing assistants, medical secretaries, social workers, REKO, and foot care specialists. We have close cooperation with Rehab with team visits and BVC where we have medical services and BMM located in the same building. Kungsängen Health Center continues to expand, and we need to strengthen our team with an additional specialist in general medicine.

Job Responsibilities:

The work involves all common tasks for a general specialist at the health center and, if necessary, in home healthcare.

With us, you will be offered a varied job within the broad field of general medicine where you will meet and consult patients of all ages both physically and digitally. You will mentor younger colleagues and support other professional categories in medical assessments. The possibility to work partially from home is offered when the business allows it.

The work requires broad competence and independence. We value good continuing education and high medical quality. We regularly have external guest lecturers visiting us.

Qualifications:

  • Specialist doctor in general medicine with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare.
  • Experience as a qualified specialist and having worked in Swedish healthcare, preferably primary care, is an advantage.
  • Experience with the TakeCare journal system is an advantage.

Employment Type:

Permanent employment. Full-time 100%. Working hours are scheduled Monday to Friday. A probationary period may apply. Start date according to agreement.

In patient-related work within the Stockholm County Healthcare Area:

  • background checks will be applied before a hiring decision according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for background checks during employment.
  • employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which is done through occupational health services before employment.
  • in addition to Swedish professional authorization, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements apply to non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
